I was so impressed by the pastries I picked up here before a flight. I got banana bread, a cinnamon roll, and a cheddar scone. The banana bread was simply delightful; it used real banana and the bread was moist. It was flavorful and tasty, and I really enjoyed it. The cinnamon roll was made from croissant-type material which I wasn't expecting, but it was flavorful too and light. It was a tad too sweet though. The cheddar scone was firm but not dry, and the cheese flavor was very present though a bit salty. All this (I got two slices of banana bread and one each for the others) came out to be around $13 which is definitely expensive, but it's also airport food so it's expected.

This is the one at Terminal D at Laguardia. Walked up with my daughter and niece to get a coffee. We were looking to see what we wanted when an extremely rude lady behind the counter walks up at says "yes". We continued to look and she says "please tell me what you want" in a voice that suggested she was irritated we were taking so long. I asked if they had any flavored syrup and she said "yes, it's up there" and pointed to the sign. I told her to forget it and walked away. Based on the reviews I've been seeing this place is less than acceptable in customer service. I would bet they loose lots of business because of her. If I were a business owner I would fire anyone who behaved like her. If you're ever at Terminal D and want coffee, walk a few feet away to Bisoux Market. They have great coffee and even better customer service.

Reallyyyyyyyyy bad service. I just walked away. The woman is just rude when I asked why she is being rude she said it wasn't her fault that management makes her be rude??? Ummmm what??? It was this morning. I just went without coffee and a sandwich

Pretty quick coffee placed conveniently in the food court of LGA. It's nice to have a place other than Starbucks serving coffee. They have a station with pastries and self serve drip coffee as well as a counter with made to order drinks. They have plenty of drink options and some food options as well.
It's in a cafeteria and so you just grab what you need and then check yourself out. They don't take cash though, which stinks.
$5 for a medium latte but that's really not too outrageous for an airport serving specialty coffee drinks. -

Bummer dude.
But seriously, this new food hall space is a stunning addition to the airport. It's sad to see what lousy customer service can do to an establishment despite the product not being too shabby. In this case, I had a cappuccino but they also offer fresh juices and smoothies here. The woman working the register had a less than friendly sass which I could have rolled with had she not grabbed two cups for an order by sticking her fingers deep into the glasses right after handling the register. Big "no no" in the health department world. I hope that with stronger training and more pride behind the product this location will turn around and match its shiny setting.
